Outreach: SENCER Center for Innovation - New England
Southern Connecticut State University is the host institution for the SCI-New England. SCSU, located in New Haven, has applied the SENCER approach in substantive ways on campus, and faculty there are responsible for several model courses, including Computer Ethics and Science on the Connecticut Coast. Areas of Expertise and Focus SCI-New England initiatives are open to participants around the U.S. but are primarily designed to address the needs and interests of individuals in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, and the Eastern Canadian Provinces. The New England group has broad expertise among its members. The region is particularly strong in the areas of environmental change, pre-service and in-service teacher education, and health related issues.
